The Fishing

The calm waters surrounding Admiralty Island and Pybus Point Lodge provide the finest salt and freshwater fishing areas in North America. King, Silver, Pink and Chum salmon readily attack bait and artificial lures as you troll or mooch around local points and sharp dropoffs. Also in abundance are Halibut, Ling cod, Yelloweye and over twenty other bottom-dwelling species.

Halibut are not only plentiful at Pybus Point Lodge... They're Big!

Many are landed over 100, 200, even 300 pounds!

Hard fighting Dolly Varden, available in great numbers from local streams, await both fly and spinfisherman all season long. Other nearby waters also host rainbow and cutthroat trout and large migratory runs of silver, pink and chum salmon.
