Lodge Summary:

Pybus Point Lodge is a remote Alaskan fishing and eco-tourism lodge in Southeast Alaska that is only available by boat or floatplane. Among 7 guests cabins we can accommodate up to 38 guests per 4 and 5 day all-inclusive trip. From fishing to whale watching to glaciers and hot springs Pybus Point Lodge provides an amazing location for a true remote Alaskan experience. Gourmet Meals, Amazing Cabins, Workout Room, Hot Tubs and daily activities that are second-to-none are nothing compared to the excellent customer service our guests have come to expect. Our guests often say, “We came because of the location, we come back because of the staff”. With that in mind we only hire those with that bring with them a true customer service mindset.

LOCATION:

Remote Alaskan Resort, Admiralty Island, AK. You will be expected to stay at the lodge for the entire season (approximately 110-115 days).

Requirements

Daily assists in the cleaning of the restaurant, guest cabins, hot tub area, etc including laundry service.  Also assists in waiting tables, serving, washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen and restaurant.  Other jobs and assignments as needed.  Approx. 60 hours per week, over a 7-day period. Our focus is delighting our customers, and a friendly, helpful, and happy attitude is required at all times. This means 110+ straight days with no days off. You must be resilient and able to work long and hard.

Travel Requirements:

Employees are responsible for their own travel arrangements to Juneau, AK prior to the season start date and from Juneau, AK at the conclusion of the season. The lodge will provide transportation from Juneau to the lodge. Any required accommodations in Juneau are the responsibility of the employee. If an employee quits or is let go at any time, the lodge will provide transportation from the lodge back to Juneau.

Room and Board:

As a remote lodge, the only option for lodging and meals is at the lodge. Food and lodging is provided at no cost as part of the compensation. Laundry and gym facilities are available to all employees. The Lodge will provide bed sheets and pillowcases. Staff must clean and leave rooms better than they found them. If an employee room is left dirty a $250 cleaning fee will be deducted from last paycheck. If staff rooms are not kept clean, your room will be cleaned at a rate of $100 per week.
