At Pybus Point Lodge we don’t just make it possible to do that, we ensure that every guest is able to fish in the pristine Alaskan waters with top-of-the-line fishing equipment. Our full-time guides are experts in the area who know where you can find the best fishing, and also love all the adventures that the wide-open Alaskan wilderness can offer.
During your stay at Pybus Point Lodge our guides are available to take you out on the water for up to eight hours a day. The guides’extensive expertise in finding fish faster, combined with all the high-quality fishing gear available for our guests, helps you get to the fish sooner and catch more during your stay. Our guides also love to teach you the perfect techniques for our area that you can then use to fish in the evenings around the resort (or just to impress your friends on the next trip to the lake after you get home).
While Alaska is world-renowned for its fishing, you’ll find different fish at each location. To make the most of your trip it’s best to have someone with local knowledge of where you can find various species, including:
· Halibut
· Rockfish
· Pacific Cod
· Ling Cod
· Salmon (4 species)
Guides can also take you on tours to the best local spots for river and lake fishing to catch salmon, trout and other local species with a fly rod or spin-caster.
